Control is the capacity to manipulate many things, to take decision, to solve problems, to use better the intelligence. Is when someone has the capacity to organize and decide for something. He or she controls that. When someone has the control is free to do whatever he or she want because this person has the capacity to do it. People need to use that control because in some cases people like to control everything for a bad objective and that’s not fair. Control isn’t something absolute.

Self control is when a person has their own capacity to take their decisions. No one is there to help this person to take some decision about their self. He or she knows what is better for they and they alone can take the decision or the risk. In my opinion self control is to control one's emotions and desires. is the capacity of efficient management to the future because they have that power to take decisions without help. They can control their selves. They have that capacity so they are independent. Self control is to think, because people that control their selves use the intelligence, that’s why they stop, they think and finally they take a decision.

It is very important that all the people have self control because it means that nobody are going to organize their lives. It is important to start when they are kids. They need to learn how to get their own self control. Parents can help kids learn self-control and teach them how to respond to situations without just acting on impulse. If they learn this they can stop abuses and they also can think better their decisions.

When we have the control we are the owners of our decisions. This is so important because in life every day we have problems and we need to have that control to solve them. We are able to solve conflicts in a good way if we can control our self. Self control help people to know more about their selves. We can find our reality if we can control our self. Self control make people discipline, strong, able to talk important themes etc. having self control it is important to apply that control every day to live better.

We are life owners. We are the only one that can change our life. We are architects of our destiny. We are the only one that choose what we want in our life. We need to control our self to make correct decisions in life.

Do Symbols represent something for us?
When I saw the movie I understood that we like symbols a lot. Symbols represent something for us. We know that Red Cross means a hospital or that a red heart means love etc. Symbols are part of our life because they represent something important for us. They are something important that everybody like to use them, even though powerful people and countries use it to manipulate others. Also it is important that we accept that symbols many times save our lives because they express something for us.

Do People continue being manipulated by others?
In the movie we can understand how the media and powerful people control us. We are manipulated by these people because they only show us what they want that we know. They never show us the truth because they want to control everybody. We only know basic things about duties or conflicts but we are really blind because we aren’t involved with the real stuff. I am very concerned about this because how we can’t know what is happening in our life with our world. How vague can we are. Because we don’t said anything and that’s wrong. We need to stop this but we continue living a lie. And that people are still controlling our world and we don’t do anything. Finally they think that they are the owners of our lives and they want to do whatever they think that is right even thought they are wrong.

Time of materialism
This is the era of materialism. This is time of machines in our lives. People are only focused on that, in things and they forget values that they learned one day in their lives. Nobody looks to the other one and they never ask if everything is ok. That time ended, nowadays people are focused in their stuff and they forget everyone, they just look to their benefit. They are materialist. To collect material goods is the priority at this time. In other words they only want money to have more and more. People don’t think in how is the person, how is his/ her education, nor what they want etc. they just want to look what this person can give to them. The most important is how much you can obtain because values are dead at this time. Materialism destructed everything because they don’t think in the future, they just think in their objectives. They just want more and more. This time will kill our planet; this time is killing many people. Materialism just focus on things and forgets human side.

Material values
Nowadays people forget what a real value is. They measured the value following what you have. That’s why we call this material values. They only want people that have things or they only want people that can give something to them. It is true, they never focused if the person is good or not, or if the person have legal things, that it doesn’t matter now because what is important is how much you have or how much you can give or the person can obtain for you.

Intelligence VS fight and conflict
In this movie many things drew my attention. One of this things was that we are humans so we can be communicate but when we have some conflicts we never talk, we fight. We never use that beautiful capacity of communication to solve the problems. We like to fight, to see people suffering to change things. That is wrong but our systems like those fights because they win power. They like to see how many suffer or how many die and then they change. They are selfish because they only want wealth and happiness for some people and they don’t care about the others.

Judaism and Jewish are two different things. Judaism is a set of beliefs and practices originated in the Hebrew Bible. A Jew is a member of the Jewish people, an ethno religious group originating in the Israelites or Hebrews of the Ancient Near East. The Jewish and the religion of Judaism are strongly interrelated, and converts to Judaism have been absorbed into the Jewish community throughout the millennia. Finally we can understand that Judaism is a set of beliefs and Jews are people. Judaism is a religion.

During World War Two it was very difficult the situation. The Pope preferred to see other things but not the reality during this war. Many people told him that Nazis killed Jews but he didn’t care. He also ignored evidence of the Holocaust and cut self-serving deals with Berlin.

The Pope didn’t defend these millions of people that died in Concentration Camps. Nazis used Zyklon B to kill the Jews. Many people tried to say what was on but if the Pope didn’t do anything what these people could do? These times were very hard. This movie tried to show the reality of World War Two. At that time many people were deceived because the Nazis told to the people that Concentration Camps were amazing, that they were good places for Jews to live.

It was very sad to live at that time. Kurt Gerstein, a real-life chemist saw how the Final Solution was. That’s why he wanted to change that and he did a lot of things to obtain the Popes support. But it was impossible, the Pope didn’t care. Gerstein can’t live in peace with that information in his mind.

At time of War it was difficult to be string in religion beliefs because the Nazis wanted to control everything. The Nazis only wanted to accomplish the Final Solution and they didn’t care about people right to live. Also in a catholic religion people had to choose which side they want. They had to decide if they support the Nazis or not.

In my opinion World War Two was the biggest genocide in the world. They killed people as animals. They didn’t have a heart because they only wanted to “clean” their nation. People had to go away because it was impossible to live there. Many people had to do a lot of terrible things to save their lives. They only wanted that beautiful life that one day they had but that at that time they lost. I think that finally, people just wanted to save their lives, that’s why in some cases innocents died for guiltiest.

MONEY!

MONEY MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND
I agree with the phrase “money makes the world go round”. It is because people love that green paper. Money gives them power, life, fortune, food, unhappiness, happiness etc. it is everything for people because their lives revolve around that paper. They don’t do anything if they don’t receive money however in some cases the work without paid but that is very uncommon today. To have money people fight, people die, people do whatever because they want it.

MONEY IS GOD
I don’t agree with this phrase. For me money is something and GOD is all in the world. I think that many people consider money as a god because the money is all in their lives. I think that people need some money to have a good life. Money isn’t all in life. People can be happy without millions. The most important is to believe in god and to consider the money as a thing no more. Because money is an object, money isn’t something supernatural like god.

ECONOMY IS THE NEW RELIGION
In my opinion economy is a social system. It isn’t a religion but many people see economy as a religion because they only want to have more and more money. So their lives go round the economy because this gives their money. We know the religions that exist and the economy is only a system. Economy wants to obtain an evolution in the system. The economy wants to grow up. The religion wants to increase your faith and believe. They are two completely different things.

MONEY IS THE ROOF OF ALL EVIL
Money is anything, anything that people can use to pay for something. Sometimes we think that money is all in the life. We don’t see more than money and that is very bad. We need to know how to leave with the money. Money is something good for survive, life, spend in necessities but some people think that money is all happiness in the world. They can’t see more because they only think in the money. That’s why money can be the roof of all evil. Money can be good or bad it depend how we use it.

WITHOUT MONEY THERE CAN BE ABUNDANCE
I liked a lot this phrase. In my opinion it is true. Without money we also can have a lot of things. What I mean? Money is very important but it isn’t all in life. People can be happy without a lot of money. In little thing people can find happiness. Some people can’t understand that because they only think that money is all in life. But that’s a lie. We can find a lot of things in life and be happy. We can do a lot of things and obtain beautiful results without money. Money help people many times but money aren’t all in life.

THE DUCHESS

In the movie the main characters were GEORGIANNA; she was the Duke´s wife, WILLIAM; The Duke, ELIZABETH; she was the concubine and CHARLES GREY; he was Georgianna´s affair. This movie showed how life was at that time. We can understand how politics, culture and manners were an important influence for people.

Georgianna was a strong woman. She had a lot of courage. She liked to defend herself and to express her point of view. She didn’t care about what people can think about her. She always tried to express her ideas and sometimes she did it. On the other side was The Duke, he only loved himself and nobody else. He had a lot of power and he used that power to do whatever he wanted. That’s why Georgianna had to stay with him because he used that power to control everything and he used their children to force Goergianna to stay at home.

At that time it was very difficult to have a peaceful life. Women had to pretend many times that everything was OK. They were lies because their husbands did whatever they wanted. They used their influence to control everything. Women had to live with that sadness without being able to overcome it. It was very weird and unusual to see a woman expressing her ideas or having a political or social role, almost illegal.

In my opinion the movie tried to show us how life was so difficult at that time. It was normal to see one person that controlled everything and the rest with no expression at all. They only had to obey even thought he was wrong. Why did I write “he”? Because at that time men were powerful and women were considered as things without feelings. That’s why many people were unhappy. I think that in that time people wanted to find happiness but that was very hard. They wanted to find happiness but that was a risk, so they chose to live a beautiful life that was a lie.

I liked a lot how was Georgianna because I admire her strength and courage. That showed us that if we want to change something wrong in our life we have to fight for that. Charles Grey also was a person that had a lot of values. He didn’t matter about having a baby boy or girl, because he loved that woman. He was very loyal and respectful but he never gave up his dreams nor his opportunities to reach true happiness. He did everything to obtain that happiness. He fought for love as Georgianna tried.

For me the best part of the movie was when Georgianna told the Duke that she already made her mistake when she married him. This teaches us that she was intelligent and that she always knew the truth. However, the duke controlled everybody so she had to stay with him all her life, regretting her mistake every day.

This movie can make us think that nowadays we can be happy, we can fight for that happiness. We choose how to leave, with whom, why, etc, it’s our choice. We can leave with love and freedom at the same time. We can obtain that happiness that all the people want. The most important and valuable thing in life is to be free, to choose our destiny.
